PHOTOCOPIABLE MATERIALS: A QUICK LOOK
![]() Dyslexia friendly teaching tip. |
The Game of Word Dominoes is popular and promotes concentration Dominoes are easy to make out of card or by sticking cut up address labels onto ordinary dominoes or other plastic tiles Colour or Capitals can be used to bring easier recognition - but less concentration! The emphasis may need to be on letter order, not colour match. Capitals are easy to differentiate, it is lower-case b, d, p and q which confuse by rotation. Ideally, a domino set will come full circle, but this is not essential for success. See the Digital Vault for a b, d, p dominoes game.
